About Avant-Garden ®

A Norwegian-developed and patented dietary supplement

Avant-Garden® is a Norwegian dietary supplement that was developed in the early 2000s and has been used by many since 2001. The product is both developed, patented and produced in Norway, and is based on plant lectins from four natural ingredients: sea kelp, kale, beets and tomatoes.

The combination of these ingredients is unique to Avant-Garden®, and the patent was granted based on how this plant lectin blend is put together.

A Norwegian-developed and patented dietary supplement

A clinical study was conducted at the University of Bergen (Faculty of Medicine, Department of Immunological Research) to examine how the body reacts to the plant lectins in Avant-Garden®.

The study included 90 medical students divided into placebo, one tablet, and three tablets daily over two months.

According to the documentation, the group that received the highest dose showed a more pronounced positive development in measurements related to cold-related conditions. No adverse effects were reported in the study.

This is the basis for the manufacturer describing Avant-Garden® as a dietary supplement with clinically documented health effects related to the immune system.
